Guilford, CT - East River Energy was a corporate sponsor this year at the Guilford Fair. The company annually supports the fair with a display booth.

“We always look forward to seeing many of our customers, friends and neighbors throughout the weekend,” said Dave Rettig, retail manager at East River Energy. “As part of celebrating East River Energy’s 25th anniversary, we added another portion to our booth this year; “Ask the Expert”. East River Energy had one of our professional technicians at the booth and was able to answer heating, cooling and equipment questions from fair-goers. It was very successful and well received,” added Rettig.

“Every year the company gives back to the communities that they all work and live in. East River Energy also donates a portion of its profits to community-based nonprofit organizations in the towns that they serve - from heating oil for the needy to grants for scholarships, to the construction of playgrounds, to fundraisers for libraries and local police and fire departments and emergency services.

"We are happy to support the local communities and feel it is necessary to be socially responsible in the towns where we conduct business," explains Rettig.
